App Configuration / Experience Channels β€” Production view

Experience Channels lets you create and manage the digital touchpoints through which tenants and visitors interact with your property. Configure web subdomains for browser-based access and set up visitor kiosks for on-site check-in.

Overview

Navigate to HqO Admin > App Configuration > Experience Channels to manage all of your property's digital channels in one place.

The page is split into two channel types:

  • Web β€” browser-based experience delivered via a custom subdomain (e.g., yourbuilding.hqo.co)
  • Visitor kiosk β€” on-site tablet or kiosk interface for visitor check-in

Changes to experience channels take effect immediately for active subdomains.

FAQ

Can one subdomain serve multiple buildings? Yes. Experience Channels supports many-to-many relationships β€” a single subdomain can be associated with multiple buildings.

What happens when a subdomain is set to Inactive? The subdomain URL will no longer be accessible to users. Active sessions may be terminated. Reactivate the subdomain at any time by toggling it back to Active.

Can I use a custom domain instead of .hqo.co? Custom domain configuration is handled by your HqO account team. Contact appsupport@hqo.co to request a custom domain setup.

Who can access the Web experience? Access to a web subdomain is controlled by your tenant and user configuration. By default, users authenticate with their business email.
