Mobile App
Android

iOS

⚠️ Note: Location Services must be set to Always for Mobile Access (building entry) to work reliably. With any other setting, the app must be open in the foreground to communicate with readers.
Desktop Browsers (HqO Admin)

Mobile Web (Webview)
HqO apps use embedded webviews to display third-party integrations and SSO flows.
iOS Webview
- Uses the latest WebKit engine (same as Safari)
- Content must work with Safari and support mobile or responsive layouts
- User agent identifies as iPhone
Android Webview
HqO Android uses two webview engines depending on the context:
- Android System WebView — used for most embedded content. Updated via the Play Store; version depends on the device.
- GeckoView (v109) — used for SSO/SAML-initiated flows.
Content must work with both Chrome and Firefox and support mobile or responsive layouts.
Mobile App Requirements
These capabilities must be enabled on the user's device for full functionality:
- Location Services — required for Mobile Access features
- Bluetooth — required for Mobile Access features
- Push notifications — required to receive building alerts and updates
- Stable internet connection
Web Requirements
- JavaScript enabled
- Cookies enabled (required for authentication)
- Stable internet connection
