Define and manage purchasable items and services available to tenants through the HqO app.
Overview
Products is the catalog management interface for billable items beyond standard resource bookings. Use it to offer custom services, physical items, or add-on amenities that tenants can purchase directly through the HqO app.
Each product has a SKU, pricing model, and availability scope — so you control exactly what is offered, to whom, and at what price.
Getting started
You can add products immediately from this page. Configure your tax rates in Taxes before publishing products so pricing calculations are accurate.
🔒 Permission required: Creating and managing products requires Commerce permissions in HqO Admin.
Product fields

| Price Type | Pricing model (fixed, per-unit, etc.) |
| Unit Type | The unit the price is based on (per hour, per item, etc.) |
| Availability Scope | Which buildings or audiences can see and purchase the product |
| Status | Published or Draft |
Core workflows
Add a new product
- Go to HqO Admin > Commerce > Products.
- Click + Add new item.
- Enter the product name and SKU.
- Select the item type, price type, and unit type.
- Set the price and configure availability.
- Set the status to Published when ready to go live.
- Click Save.
Edit a product
- Click the product row to open the detail view.
- Update the relevant fields.
- Click Save.
Unpublish a product
- Open the product detail view.
- Change the Status to Draft.
- Click Save. The product is hidden from tenants immediately.
FAQ
What is the difference between a product and a resource booking? Resource bookings are time-based reservations for spaces or equipment managed in the Resource Booking section. Products are discrete purchasable items (services, goods, add-ons) that don't require a time slot.
Can I limit a product to specific tenants? Yes. Use the Availability field to scope the product to specific buildings or audiences.
Do products support discounts? Products can be included in discount rules configured in the Discounts page.
