Amenity Posts

Amenity Posts page showing the Building Amenities section with a New Amenity placeholder tile and a Cobblestone Fitness tile marked Live

Experience / Amenity Posts β€” Production view

Amenity Posts lets you showcase your building's facilities as visual tiles in the tenant app. Each amenity card gives tenants quick access to information about fitness centers, rooftop terraces, bike storage, and any other spaces or services in your building.

Overview

Find Amenity Posts at HqO Admin > Experience > Amenity Posts. Amenity tiles appear in a dedicated section of the tenant app separate from the main content feed. You can organize amenities into named sections and control the display order within each section.

The amenity posts page

The page shows your amenity tiles grouped into sections (for example, Building Amenities). Within each section:

  • Each tile displays the amenity photo, name, and building label.
  • A Live badge appears on published amenities.
  • A + New Amenity placeholder is always shown first β€” click it to start creating.

Creating an amenity

Step 1 β€” Upload an image

  1. Go to HqO Admin > Experience > Amenity Posts.
  2. Click Create amenity (or the + New Amenity tile).
  3. Click the image upload area and select a photo from your computer.
  4. Enter Image alt text to describe the image for screen readers. For example: "Rooftop terrace with seating and city views."

Step 2 β€” Fill in the details

FieldRequiredDescription
NameYesThe amenity name shown to tenants in the app
CategoryYesThe section this amenity appears in (for example, Building Amenities)
DescriptionYesA description of the amenity, including hours, location, or access instructions

Step 3 β€” Save

Click Create Amenity. The tile is immediately added to the selected section and set to Live.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Include practical details in the description: operating hours, access requirements, and any reservation instructions. Tenants refer to amenity tiles when they need to know how to use a space.

Editing an amenity

  1. Go to HqO Admin > Experience > Amenity Posts.
  2. Click the amenity tile.
  3. In the side panel, click Edit.

  5. Click Save Amenity.

Deleting an amenity

Open the amenity for editing and click Delete in the right panel. The tile is permanently removed and no longer appears in the app.

⚠️ Note: Deletion is permanent. If you need to temporarily hide an amenity without losing the content, consider leaving the tile in place and updating the description to note it is temporarily unavailable.

Managing sections

Click Manage sections to:

  • Add a new section to organize amenities by type (for example, Fitness, Outdoor Spaces, or Meeting Rooms).
  • Rename existing sections.
  • Remove sections that are no longer needed.

Amenities within a section can be reordered by dragging and dropping the tiles on the main Amenity Posts page.

FAQ

How is Amenity Posts different from Content? Content tiles are for time-sensitive posts β€” announcements, events, promotions. Amenity Posts are for persistent building facilities that tenants need to find year-round.

Can I link an amenity to a booking system? Amenity Posts don't include a built-in CTA button. For bookable spaces, include the booking link or instructions in the Description field, or use Service Booking for reservation management.

Where do amenity tiles appear in the app? Amenities appear in the Building Amenities section of the tenant app, separate from the main content feed.

Can I target amenities to specific tenants? No. Amenity tiles are visible to all tenants in the building. They represent shared building facilities available to everyone.

Can I reorder amenity tiles? Yes. Drag and drop tiles within a section to set the order tenants see them.
