Experience / Marketplace โ€” Production view

The Marketplace is HqO's directory of technology partners. Browse 40+ integrations across access control, visitor management, resource booking, mobility, and more โ€” then request the ones that fit your property.

Overview

Navigate to HqO Admin > Experience > Marketplace to open the Marketplace. The page opens on the Vendors tab, which lists all available technology integrations.

The Marketplace is a discovery and request tool โ€” not a configuration panel. Use it to explore partner capabilities and submit activation requests to your HqO account team. Once an integration is activated, it is managed through HqO Admin > Apps > Features.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: The Marketplace is available to building admins and portfolio admins. Building-specific filtering helps you identify which integrations are relevant to each property.

Browsing the Marketplace

Search

Use the search bar at the top of the page to find integrations by provider name, product name, description, or feature keyword. Results update as you type.

Filters

The Filters panel on the left side of the page contains three collapsible filter groups:

Building

Use the Building dropdown to filter results for a specific property. This helps when managing multiple buildings under a portfolio.

Vertical

The Vertical filter shows all supported integration categories. Check one or more boxes to narrow the list to relevant verticals.

The results area shows Showing: All developers (or a count when filters are active) and updates immediately when any filter changes.

Each card in the results grid displays the following information:

Viewing an integration's details

Click any integration card to open its detail page. The detail page shows:

  • Integration name and logo
  • Developer โ€” the company behind the integration
  • Website link โ€” direct link to the developer's product page
  • About section โ€” full product description and use case details
  • Specifications panel (right side):

Navigate back to the full list using the Marketplace / breadcrumb at the top of the page.

Requesting an integration

The Marketplace is a request-based system. Integrations are not self-serve โ€” your HqO account team activates them after reviewing your request.

How to submit a request

  1. Open the integration you want from the Marketplace list.
  2. Click the Request button in the top-right corner of the detail page.
  3. A Review request modal appears, confirming the integration name.
  4. Add any notes, questions, or context in the Tell us more about your request field.
  5. Click Submit to send the request to your HqO account team.

After submitting, your account team will follow up to discuss setup requirements, timelines, and any vendor agreements needed to activate the integration.

โš ๏ธ Note: Some integrations require hardware installation, IT coordination, or third-party vendor agreements. Review the Specifications panel on the detail page before submitting a request so you can plan accordingly.

Managing active integrations

The Marketplace is for discovery only. Integrations that have already been activated for your building are configured and managed from a different location.

Go to HqO Admin > Apps > Features to:

  • Enable or disable active integrations per building
  • Configure integration-specific settings
  • Manage user access and permissions

The Marketplace does not show an "active" state on cards โ€” there is no visual indicator distinguishing integrations already live at your building from those available to request.

FAQ

Can I activate an integration directly from the Marketplace? No. The Marketplace is a discovery and request tool. Clicking Request submits a request to your HqO account team, who will work with you on activation.

How long does it take to activate an integration after requesting? Timelines vary by integration and depend on hardware requirements, vendor agreements, and IT coordination. Your account team will provide an estimated timeline after reviewing your request.

Can I filter by my building to see which integrations are already active? The Building filter scopes the list to integrations available for that property, but does not show currently active integrations. Use HqO Admin > Apps > Features to see what is active.

What does "Hardware required" mean in the Setup Requirements filter? It means the integration requires a physical device (such as an access reader, kiosk, or sensor) to be installed at the property before the integration can go live.

What does "Installation required" mean? It means the integration requires on-site setup, configuration, or professional installation beyond a standard software connection.

We use a vendor not listed in the Marketplace. Can we still integrate? Reach out to your HqO account team to discuss custom integration options not currently listed in the Marketplace.
