Mobile App Features

The HqO mobile app surfaces building features through a combination of the home screen, navigation tabs, and utility buttons. Which features are available depends on what the property team has enabled in HqO Admin.

Core Features

Content Feed

The Discover tab shows all content published for the building β€” events, announcements, deals, wellness sessions, and more. Tenants can filter by category to find relevant posts. Selecting a content card opens the full post, and bookable content shows an inline Book or RSVP button.

The home screen also shows a preview feed organized in category carousels for quick scanning.

Resource Booking

Tenants can browse and book meeting rooms, wellness spaces, and other shared resources directly in the app. The booking view shows real-time availability and lets tenants select a time slot, name their booking, and invite attendees. Confirmed bookings appear in the tenant's upcoming reservations.

Mobile Access (Digital Key)

When Mobile Access is enabled, tenants can unlock building doors by holding their phone near an HID reader β€” no physical keycard required. Bluetooth must be enabled. The feature works without WiFi, which is useful in low-signal areas like elevators and basements. See HID Integration for setup details.

Visitor Registration

Tenants can pre-register guests directly from the app. Enter the visitor's name, contact details, visit date and time, and any access instructions. The visitor receives a digital invite with building access details. All registrations sync with the HqO Web visitor management view.

Service Requests (Work Orders)

Tenants submit maintenance and service requests from the app. Each request includes a category, location, description, and optional photo attachments. Tenants can track request status and receive updates directly in the app.

Events

The events section shows all upcoming building events. Tenants can browse, RSVP, and manage their registrations. Free and paid events are both supported. Confirmed event registrations generate confirmation emails and calendar invitations.

Service Booking

If the building has on-site service providers β€” fitness instructors, massage therapists, or similar β€” tenants can browse available sessions and book appointments. Providers and schedules are configured by the property team.

Community Forum

When enabled, the Community Forum lets tenants connect with others in the building. Tenants can post questions, share updates, and engage with the building community. Forum membership settings (showing/hiding name, allowing email contact) are managed from the Profile tab.

Feature Availability

Features appear in the app only when the property team has enabled them in HqO Admin > App Configuration > Features. Contact your building team if you expect a feature to be available but don't see it.
