HqO partners with safety and smart-building providers so tenants can reach emergency resources, report incidents, check space occupancy, and control room environments from the HqO app.

For all four integrations, admin management stays in the partner's back office — HqO supports the tenant experience through the HqO app. Each integration must be included in your HqO contract; contact your HqO Customer Success Manager to discuss availability and options.
AK Preparedness
AK Preparedness is a pioneer of emergency preparedness services for office buildings, corporations, and residential properties, supporting planning maps, diagrams, training plans, and emergency response plans. The integration uses SAML authentication, so tenants skip re-authentication when opening the feature from the HqO app.
What Users Can Do

- Documents — access emergency documentation
- Training — view training documents and videos, and select training programs
- More — reach additional AK Preparedness features
Setup
Contact your Implementation Manager or Customer Success Team to express interest. The HqO team sets up the integration and coordinates testing. The integration is available in North America only.
LiveSafe
LiveSafe (part of Vector Solutions) is a mobile safety platform that connects individuals and safety officials to build safer communities. For property teams, the integration centralizes tenant safety features in one platform, improves tenant communication while reducing property management time, and centralizes operational and behavioral data for portfolio optimization.
What Users Can Do
- Report incidents and specify their location
- Track incidents and receive status updates
- Receive alerts — security teams send notifications by email and text outside the app
- Contact 911 directly in an individual emergency
Setup
Provide the following to HqO:

Density
Density provides occupancy sensing that helps you manage the number of people in your workplace and reduce crowding. HqO surfaces Density through webview URLs, giving tenants direct access to occupancy data in the HqO app.

- Use Density dashboards customized with your logos, colors, language, and data visualizations

- Reserve a space, where reservation is available
Setup
HqO needs the webview URLs associated with your Density account, which Density provides to HqO. Density is available globally, with restrictions on account size and the number of end users.
bGrid
bGrid brings room control and smart office features into the HqO app through a webview integration.
What Users Can Do
Tenants select the Meeting Room Control button (the label is customizable), land in the bGrid interface, and follow bGrid's standard flow. Available capabilities include:
- Occupancy sensing and detection
- Room booking integrated with Microsoft 365
- Environmental monitoring — temperature, humidity, and CO₂ levels
- Building management system controls, including light, HVAC, temperature, blinds, and privacy glass
Setup
HqO needs the webview URLs associated with your bGrid account, which bGrid provides to HqO. The integration is available globally.
