Work Order & Building Operations Integrations
HqO integrates with third-party work order and building operations platforms so tenants can submit service requests, book resources, and manage visits from the HqO app while your existing system remains the operational back office.
For every integration on this page, all administration stays in the partner platform's back office β HqO provides the tenant/end-user experience through the HqO mobile app. Each integration must be included in your HqO contract; contact your HqO Customer Success Manager or Implementation Manager to add one or learn more.
Angus Systems
The Angus Systems integration brings Angus's Work Orders, Visitor Management, and Resource Booking modules into the HqO app.
What tenants can do in the HqO app:
| Module | Capabilities |
|---|---|
| Work Orders | Submit work orders with key inputs routed to the right parties, track status, receive progress updates, and view outstanding requests |
| Visitor Management | Register and pre-register guests, send visitor invitations, check visitor status, and receive arrival notifications |
| Resource Booking | View and book available resources; update, adjust, or cancel reservations |
User access: The integration supports users who have Tenant Employee access in Angus and an HqO account matched by email address. Property managers and admins must update their Angus permissions to use the integration.
Setup: Provide your HqO team with:
- Your account name in Angus
- The associated address
- Primary contact information
- Which modules to integrate (Work Orders, Visitor Registration, Resource Booking)
Configuration also requires the SSO URLs associated with your account, which Angus provides directly to HqO.
Regional availability: North America only
Building Engines Prism
The Prism by Building Engines integration lets tenants use Prism's core modules through the HqO app.
What tenants can do in the HqO app:
| Module | Capabilities |
|---|---|
| Work Orders / Service Requests | Create, track, and communicate about maintenance requests with location pinning, photos, and cost estimate management |
| Resource Reservation | Search, filter, book, and manage room reservations across multiple locations with custom configurations |
| Visitor Management | Register visitors in-app (including recurring visits); property teams can generate badges |
Setup: Complete three prerequisites in Prism, then send the details to your HqO team:
- Create an API admin email β a unique property manager account used for the system integration. This account must receive and accept its invitation email to complete setup.
- Create a test user account β an employee/tenant account for UAT testing. Test users cannot have property manager or admin roles.
- Collect your Building ID β found in the Prism property URL, between
/buildings/and?currentPage=1.
Then provide HqO with the API credentials and test user email, your Building ID, the modules you want, and property and company/floor/suite details. Store credentials in a password vault such as 1Password.
Timeline: Implementation typically takes 2β3 weeks after the information is submitted.
