HqO Web — Events
The Events page lists all upcoming and past events for the building. Tenants browse what's on, RSVP, and book sessions directly from this view.
Overview
The page is titled "Events" with the subtitle "View your upcoming and past events". A search bar at the top lets tenants search by keyword.
Event Cards
Each event is displayed as a card with:
- Featured image
- Category tag — such as Wellness at Work or Events & Happenings
- Title and description
- Date — shown with a calendar icon. Events running across more than one day show a date range
- Action button — a Book or Book my session button for registerable events
Multi-day Events
Some events run across several consecutive days — a conference, a training programme, a week-long wellness series. These are a single event, not one event per day.
On the event page, a multi-day event shows:
- A date range in the headline, for example Thu, Jul 30 – Sat, Aug 1
- A duration label on the date tile, such as 3 days
- Your position in the event while it is running, such as Day 2 of 3
- A time line below the dates showing the daily start and end times
Booking a multi-day event
- If the event has one session, you book once and your registration covers the whole event. You do not need to book each day.
- If the event has multiple sessions, the time-slot list is grouped by day with a heading for each date and a day selector across the top. Choose the slots you want on each day.
Your confirmation and the calendar invitation both carry the full date range, so a multi-day event blocks the whole span in your calendar rather than the first day only.
Booking an Event
Clicking Book or Book my session opens the booking flow. Depending on the event type, this includes:
- Selecting a day and time slot (if multiple sessions exist)
- Confirming attendee details
- Completing payment if the event has a cost
Booked events appear in the tenant's profile and generate confirmation emails and optional calendar invitations.
Blocked Sessions
Some sessions in a multi-session event may appear as Unavailable. These are blocked sessions — slots that the property team has intentionally excluded from booking. Blocked sessions:
- Remain visible in the session list so you can see the full schedule
- Cannot be booked — registration and waitlist are not available for that slot
- Do not consume event capacity — blocked sessions are excluded from the available spot count
- Are different from sold-out sessions — a sold-out session shows no available spots because they have all been taken; a blocked session is excluded by the property team and will not open for booking
If you need a time slot that is shown as unavailable, contact your building management team.
Past Events
Tenants can view completed events to review past programming. Past event cards don't show booking buttons.
Managing Events (Admin)
Building admins publish and manage events in HqO Admin > Experience > Events. Events can be set as free or paid, configured with capacity limits, and published to specific tenant audiences.
