Accepting Apple Program License Agreements

Apple periodically updates its Program License Agreement, and the updated terms must be accepted to maintain access to the Apple Developer Program. Apple notifies the Account Holder by email when a new agreement is available.

Who can accept the agreement

For client-owned Apple Developer accounts, only the Account Holder can accept the agreement.

⚠️ Note: HqO cannot accept the agreement on your behalf β€” acceptance requires logging in with your organization's designated Apple Developer credentials.

Accept the agreement

  1. Sign in β€” Log in to the Apple Developer portal with your Apple Developer account credentials.
  2. Review agreements β€” Go to the Agreements and Guidelines section and locate the current Program License Agreement.
  3. Accept terms β€” Complete the on-screen review and approve the updated terms.

Why timely acceptance matters

Prompt acceptance ensures continued access to your Apple Developer account and the ability to submit new app versions and updates. Until the agreement is accepted, HqO cannot renew your app certificate or publish updates for your white-label app.

The Program License Agreement outlines the terms and conditions for using Apple software and services to develop and distribute applications, including definitions, permitted uses, restrictions, and obligations. The full text is available in the Apple Developer portal.

Apple maintains a separate Paid Applications agreement. If you see the notification "A new version of your Paid Applications agreement is available," accept it from the Business tab in App Store Connect β€” see the steps in White-Label Mobile App.
